Hancock + Whitney Bank
Around 2012, two prominent banks in the Gulf South merged – Hancock and Whitney Bank. However, they did not all fall under a single name. Some Hancock Banks retained the Hancock name, while others became Whitney Bank, and vice-versa. And the accounts in each bank either stayed the same or were modified according to the new bank name. Consequently, the banks needed to supply each customer with a Transition Guide detailing the brand, service, and legal changes.
After it was all said and done, eight (8) variations of the guide were produced to address each combination of customer: personal, business, Hancock becoming Whitney, Whitney becoming Hancock, Whitney staying Whitney, and Hancock staying Hancock.
